Q?Are you an independent company, or are you a subsidiary of any other company?

SWAN is a completely independent company. We are not a subsidiary of any other company. We would also highlight that we are not owned by or affiliated with any pharmaceutical, insurance, biotechnology, or other medical company — so we have no conflicts of interest to report. One of our key strengths is being able to offer trustworthy, independent, physician-vetted information to our clients.

Q?Does SWAN work with clients nationally? Internationally?

Yes, absolutely. The nature of our offerings is such that we are able to work with clients anywhere in the world. We have partnerships, relationships, and technology that allow us to engage with clients effectively, with almost no geographic restrictions. We have already completed national engagements, spanning the entire USA. By mid-2013, we will be announcing a number of international engagements as well.

SWAN generally works with medium- and large-sized employers, benefits consultants, wellness companies, doctors’ groups, and hospitals.

Q?What is SWAN?

SWAN Sleep Solutions is the nation’s first and only corporate sleep coaching firm. Our sole focus is to help employees get the best possible sleep — because well-rested employees are productive employees. A recent study at Harvard University has shown that workers with insomnia lose an average of 11 days’ worth of productivity per year. That is about $2,500 to $3,000 of lost productivity, per employee with insomnia. And with an estimated 20 – 25% of workers suffering from insomnia, one can see that the problem is large. And that is just insomnia… There are over 80 recognized sleep disorders affecting tens of millions of Americans. Our marching orders at SWAN are simple: help employers craft and implement a comprehensive sleep wellness program, thereby benefiting their employees, and their bottom line.
